Howdy Y'all

Howdy Partner!
If you can't tell by my lingo your preschooler's and I set out on the range to explore cowboy's and cowgirl's. We started out our expedition by going over the letter C, can you guess why?

Aside from just cow boys and gals the kids also discovered lots of other things that start with C. One of the crafts for the day was taking our upper, and lower case C's and gluing cotton ball's onto them just like this one.
Our next craft included making our very own cowboy hats to fashion off, they really enjoyed this and were sad to have to take them off when it was time to grab some grub.

The rest of our day was spent reading books on what it is like to be a cowboy. We also sang aloud a new song called "My cowboy hat".
Now, that's all about  cowboy small! Y'all come back now, ya hear!
Happy trails!

Were going on a bear hunt!

We kicked off our week today by chanting the kids new favorite song "Were going on a bear hunt", because I am sure you will be hearing this song over the next few days I posted a link where you can find the lyrics so you are able to sing along! Have fun!=) If you are anything like me I can assure you that you will be singing it for the rest of the day. Check it out, it is actually a very fun song to sing.  http://www.timmyabell.com/music/lyrics/ol/bearhunt.htm

To go along with our song of the day we went ahead and spent our afternoon putting our "sewing" skills to the test. Here is what we came up with!

We ended our day in preschool by practicing how to make capital and lowercase B's. Feel free to continue on with this at home. Everyone did a pretty good job we just have to keep working on making the letters fit correctly on the lines.

Thanks for reading! Happy Monday, and I hope you have a great week!
