Lets talk rainforest

Welcome Readers!

The stubborn sun is playing tricks on us today. It started out shinning brightly for all to see early this morning, but soon it cowered back behind a cloud leaving  a sorry gray gloom to welcome in our week. To accommodate the sad weather we started school by singing "Oh Mr. Sun". 

For those of you who don't know, the kids are currently hard at work learning about the rainforest. Today, acted as a huge craft day! We really did a great job of getting our creative juices flowing. Here are some of the crafts we made. Don't be alarmed when you pick up your child today and realize they don't have one. We are making a rain forest book that will hold all of our crafts together.  It will be sent home later in the week.  

I hope you enjoyed! Make sure to ask your kids what they know about the rainforest! We have learned some pretty interesting things this past week, like how big an anaconda can grow up to...you will have to ask your preschooler to find out the answer;)
